First Aid Training
When applying for your license you will be required to produce evidence that you have attained a recognised first aid award. If you do not have a recognised first aid award you’ll need to get one in order to get your license. This is in addition to the minimum 194 hours knowledge and practical training. If you do have a licence the SIA stipulates that there must be a minimum of 12 months left on it at the start of the CP course.

First aid awards recognised by the SIA are:-
• First Aid at Work – 3 day course (HSE approved) WE CAN DO THIS FOR £150
• First Person on Scene (FPOS) Intermediate Award – 30 hours (Edexcel/IHCD)

LEVEL 2 AWARD FOR CLOSE PROTECTION OPERATIVES IN THE PRIVATE SECURITY INDUSTRY (TOP UP)

ACPASS Ltd. Are offering an Industry-leading qualification that provides the required training for those working as a Close Protection Operator in the Private Security Industry who already hold an SIA Close Protection Licence but need to renew it. This qualification is a mandatory requirement for re-licensing with the SIA which came into effect on 1st October 2022 for Close Protection Operatives who are renewing their licenses and hold qualifications pre April 2022.

THE SIA STIPULATES THIS COURSE MUST BE DONE OVER A MINIMUM NUMBER OF CONTACT HOURS (45 HOURS and DAYS (5 DAYS). (Not including the 3 day FAAW Qualification)

BEFORE you attend the Close Protection Top Up course, You must have a first aid qualification (Minimum the 3 day First Aid at Work Level 3 (RQF) Award with at least 12 months remaining). If needed, this can be gained by attending ACPASS Ltd. First Aid at Work 3 Day Level 3 Award course prior. (ACPASS Ltd. cost of FAAW Qualification £150)

BEFORE attending the course, learners must also complete BOTH ACT Awareness, ACT Security eLearning: (ct.highfieldelearning.com) and the CP-DS Workbook.
